29 year old Marie Claire Holthuizen, PR Goddess from Breda in the Netherlands talks breifly to i-marbella about life, the universe and everything

Where do you live at the moment and what are your plans for the summer?

At the moment I am living and working in London but I will definitely be back, Marbella is my home, my parents live there and all my friends...

What is your profession?

PR and Marketing, I would like to open my own company in 2 years from now

How long have you lived on the coast?

9 incredibly beautiful years

What brought you to the area? Business, lifestyle, family….

My first job as a PR for Julio Iglesias, he has a house in Ojen where he is based from in the summer months and my parents had just moved to Puerto Banus as well

What attracts you most about the southern Spanish lifestyle?

It is wonderfully relaxed, the sun is always shining, the people are so friendly here and I also like the glamour

Describe a few ways you spend your time here? Work, recreation, shopping, socialising, friends and family…

I have worked at Nikki Beach for 4 years, I love going out with my friends, spend the day with my parents, go on roadtrips and of course go shopping

Do you have a favourite area or part of the coast?

I love the contrast in Marbella, you can have tapas and tinto de verano on the Paseo Maritimo, or sip champagne and party with celebrities at the Coasts hottest places like Nikki Beach

Do you holiday in other destinations now that you have relocated to a luxury resort? If so, where?

I make more city trips now, Paris, London, New York, Miami, but I also like to spend some days on a boat in Monaco, party in Ibiza or lounge on a beach in St Tropez

Finca Besaya, Babilonia-Olivia Valere, Suite-Puente Romano, Da Bruno, Tango, food and wine are my passion

The Nikki Beach White Party & Suite del Mar opening

Now really..... mmmm..... no I better not...Ha Ha

What´s playing on your i-pod at the moment?

Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra

What book have you got on your bedside table?

Nothing at the moment sadly, but I would like the time to read more

What is the most memorable experience that you have ever had?

Too many to name and many more to come I am sure...

What is the most stupid thing that you have ever done?

Something that involved Champagne I am sure
